Get ready for an amazing hip-hop experience as Darko The Super introduces his latest album, ‘Great White Buffalo.’
Released under Darko The Super’s indie label, U Don’t Deserve This Beautiful Art (UDDTBA), ‘Great White Buffalo’ consists of a total of 15 amazing bangers which are finely calibrated and deftly produced to provide listeners something new. Inspired by Dean Friedman’s 1981 masterpiece, ‘Rumpled Romeo,’ the rapper has incorporated multiple compositions of piano, saxophone, harmonica, and many organic elements along with the digital grooves to embrace his bars. Featuring a fine balance of retro and modern grooves, the tracks feel refreshing and strangely nostalgic at the same time.
Darko The Super’s prolific balance of rhythmic and lyrical flow creates a smooth meandering approach through his catchy wordplay. Depicting the picture of reality with a tint of sarcasm, the bangers are quite enjoyable like ‘First Date,’ ‘I’m Tired and It’s a Lot of Bologna,’ ‘Morbid Asshole,’ and many others. The album also features Exile and Fatboi Sharif’s verses, taking ‘Here’s the Sound’ and the title track to the upper notch. There is also a seductive saxophone solo by Saxsquatch that listeners can enjoy. Indeed, the album is redefining the essence of hip hop with an amalgamation of creativity and originality. This year, Darko released a few other albums such as ‘Cruising with Darko and the Jets’, ‘Love/War,’ and ‘Electrical Banana (A Sudden Craze).’ Follow Darko The Super on Spotify, Bandcamp, and Twitter to know more.
