Ex BTS member and global popstar j-hope has recently performed in Los Angeles for his ‘Hope On The Stage’ music tour and the first day was a complete blast.

J-Hope is not anymore a South Korean pop music artist but has become a global superstar after embarking on his solo music career. He has recently performed at ‘Hope On The Stage’ which took place in Los Angeles and the fans are delighted by his show. Although he is making brisk moves in his solo music endeavors, the artist has never forgotten his origin and gave a shoutout to his former band on stage. Before starting his show, he introduced himself to the roaring audience saying “I’m j-hope of BTS.” The crowd better known as ARMY went crazy and cheered his name together and the loving gesture almost melted j-hope.
He put his hand on his heart and said to the fans, “You guys have a lot of energy,” and asked, “Am I heaven? so many angels here.” It was only the first day of the two-day event at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles and it started with a complete blast. The two concerts are parts of the North American leg of ‘‘Hope On The Stage’’ World Tour. It has been four years since he last performed in Los Angeles with his former band BTS for the “Permission to Dance On Stage” Tour.

ARMY is best known for showing their complete support to their favorite K-pop boys it was evident through this event too. Many of the fans came into ‘Jack in the Box’ costumes and offered tribute to his studio album project. A lot of fans came up with handmade bracelets, candy, stickers, as well as photo cards which are highly popular among the K-pop community. The ‘Hope On The Stage’ concert was divided into five parts and each of them was comprised of different themes and moods which reflected a story of his musical journey. He appeared on stage dressed in black and walked towards boxes with numbers on them. He opens the box with ‘23’ on it which could be a reference to his age when he created ‘Hope World’ and gained more success in his solo career.
He performed many tracks at the show and the setlist included “Arson,” “Stop,” “Pandora’s Box,” and “What If…,” along with references to his other tracks like “Airplane” and “Chicken Noodle Soup”. j-hope is a powerful performer who can sing and dance with the same intensity. He also performed “i don’t know,” “i wonder,” “lock/unlock,” etc, and showed how versatile he is with dancing skills. He did some locking, popping, tutting, and house without even skipping a beat. He was also joined by his R&B collaborator Miguel. His final song for the concert was “Neuron”, a perfect climax for the show. The ARMY will never forget this experience.
