After the worldwide success of ‘They Not Like Us’, Kendrick Lamar initiated a powerful ‘Grand National’ Music Tour with SZA and they offered a fascinating weekend.
The two superstar collaborators of the music industry right now, Kendrick Lamar and SZA have kick started their ‘Grand National’ Tour in North America and here is everything you need to know.
On April 19, Saturday, the two music artists started their tour with a grand first show of their continent-spanning tour. The venue was at US Bank Stadium in Minnesota, Minneapolis and it was a complete sold-out show. The thousands of attendees could enjoy a mix of various sets from the duo who already performed together before. Their stage presence, chemistry, and amazing musical balance made the show even more captivating for everyone.
Guess what? Together, they have performed a total of 52 tracks and it also includes a lot of live debuts from each artist. The set kicked off with Kendrick Lamar’s engaging performance for ‘Wacced Out Murals’ which is one of the hit tracks from his latest album project ‘GNX’. This is the first-ever live debut for this song and then he quickly progresses with the most celebrated tracks from his creative hip-hop discography.
SZA also set the stage on fire with her performance of ’30 For 30′ and Lamar joined her as well. Later on Kendrick has also debuted many tracks on stage such as ‘Reincarnated’, ‘Hey Now’ and many others. Similarly, SAZ also live debuted her hit tracks like ‘Kitchen’, ‘BMF’, ‘Scorsese Baby Daddy’, etc to name some. The duo also offered a spectacular live performance of ‘Gloria’ and their set with the masterful collaboration of ‘Luther’.
Previously, SZA joined Kendrick Lamar on stage after his highly anticipated Super Bowl performance and declared their ‘Grand National’ Tour in America which will see their performances till the end of June. They have also announced extended legs UK and European run set which will also take place later on this year.
