Post Malone closed the Coachella Music Festival 2025 in style. The headliner brought out Ed Sheeran and Jelly Roll on stage during his closing performance.

Post Malone was the closing artist on the second and final weekend of Coachella 2025, and he brought out some pretty exciting surprise guests on stage. Ed Sheeran and Jelly Roll joined the artist as he closed the music festival this year. This is the second time that Malone was a headliner at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. He performed the headlining set on Sunday, April 20th, the last weekend of this year’s festival. On stage, Malone delivered a career-spanning set involving the artist playing his biggest musical hits along with the newer songs. The main attraction, however, was the country-tinged mixes in his final set.
Malone closed the 2025 edition of the Californian festival with the help of Ed Sheeran. The ‘Perfect’ singer joined Malone on stage to perform his hit ‘Sunflower’. Sheeran joined in the place of Swaa Lee, the original collaborator of the track. Sheeran came on stage and played acoustic guitar Malone got surprised and reacted with “Holy fuck,” as he walked around on the stage. He further added, “I didn’t even know he was here tonight.” The video quickly went viral on social media, where fans from all around the world came to appreciate this unexpected live collaboration. One of the X users said, “Two of the greatest”, while another commented, “Ed x Posty in one fraaaameeahhhhhckkkkkk”. Another comment on the post read, “Who listens to this and says great vocals?”. One user posted on X, “I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED ED SHEERAN TO SING SUNFLOWER WITH POST MALONE TILL RIGHT NOW”.

Later during Malone’s closing set, Jelly Roll also joined the ‘I Had Some Help’ singer to perform another hit, ‘Losers’. This song was taken from Malone’s EP F-1 Trillion, which he released in 2024. Malone also took this opportunity to promote his upcoming stadium tour. His tour kicks off on April 29 and features Jelly Roll as an opening act. “I’m so fucking grateful to be able to have the fucking opportunity to be able to go on tour with the kindest soul such as yourself,” Malone told Roll. “I knew from the first moment that I fucking hugged you that you had the biggest heart in the fucking universe, and I can only say thank you so very much, and thank you for coming out tonight and I love you and I can’t wait to kick some fucking ass. You are the greatest motherfucker in the world.”
Fans were expecting Morgan Wallen to be brought out as a surprise guest but were left disappointed. Especially for the fact that Malone collaborated with Wallen on his latest single ‘I Ain’t Coming Back’, which was released on April 18. The rapper confirmed that he has “made probably 35 songs” for a new record, and it was now “a matter of which one’s rock, and which one’s sock”. He also added that he would “absolutely not” debut any new song at his two headlining sets at the Coachella Music Festival.
