‘Evermore’ by Taylor Swift is back on top of the Billboard 200 chart again at in was at No. 2 last week. The album has been the No. 1 on the list for three weeks. As per the data by MRC, the album has gained 56,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. till January 7.
The album has been released four weeks ago. It had been on top of the chart for the first two weeks. Then, it went down to No. 2 on the third week with Playboi Carti’s ‘Whole Lotta Red’ at No. 1. After that, the album has been in the No.1 position again in the recent week.
This marks Swift’s total of 51 weeks at No. 1 with her all eight chart-topping albums.
The latest Billboard 200 chart, dated 16th January 2021, will be published on the official site of Billboard on January 12.
The sale of ‘Evermore’ was declined by 22% in units. This was due to the release of the deluxe version of the album on Thursday, January 7, which was the last day of the chart’s tracking week. The new version featured two new original songs.
‘Evermore’ earned 56000 album-equivalent units in the week ending on January 7. The songs of the album received 50.43 million on-demand streams. The sales of the album were 16000 units and the TEA units were 2000.
There have been no debuts in the top 100 list with the exception of Playboi Carti’s ‘Whole Lotta Red’, which made it to the top. ‘The Voice’ by Lil Durk went up 3-2 in the chart in its third week. It was at No, 46 when it debuted. It soon went up at No. 3 in its first full chart tracking week.
