In the sun-soaked town of Jupiter, Florida, a musical alchemist named Guy Gualtieri has been quietly revolutionizing the local music scene. His latest feat? Producing “Beads,” a celebration of Mardi Gras madness by the emerging rock band Rotorheads.
But how did a Jersey Shore native end up capturing the essence of New Orleans in a Florida studio? This musical journey spans decades and crosses state lines. It was 1989, and a young Guy Gualtieri was trading in his boardwalk strolls for palm tree-lined streets. Fresh off from New Jersey, Guy Gualtieri dives headfirst into the South Florida music scene.
