New York City-based trio Comfort Cat & Friends is set to release their upcoming album, ‘Consumption’, an intermittent mix between folksy, indie tunes.
The strains of acoustic indie rock are being penetrated for the highest forms of musical interpretation by the upcoming trio Comfort Cat & Friends. The band recently announced the release of their upcoming album ‘Consumption’ comprising of 12 lyrically and thematically enriched tracks. Strumming the sultriness of her six-stringed tenor ukulele, Comfort Cat truly comforts her listeners alongside the instrumental support extended by fellow bandmates Dan Veksler on guitar and bass and Jason Laney on percussion and keys. With a simplistic set-up, they have achieved an endless stream of musical and thematic expertise with the songs from the album such as ‘Animal’, ‘53’, ‘The Old Days’, and ‘Free Bleeding’ among others.
Trip Comfort Cat & Friends has already released the digital version of the album on the platforms of Soundcloud and YouTube however, it is set to release officially on May 8. ‘Consumption’ comprises a string of musical and insightful sensibility that surpasses the materialistic approach towards life.
