Pop-punk musician from Los Angeles Levi Zadoff has teamed up with Ottawa-based punk newcomer Dead Hendrix to release a brand new project, ‘Dead Summer’ on major streaming platforms. The incredible conceptual EP is the product of the boundless creativity and imagination of both the artists. There are five exceptionally emotional and raw melodic creations in the EP that not only showcases the brilliant vocal ability of the artists but their unmatchable storytelling capability as well. It presents the symbolic death of summer and the loss of family and friends due to the global pandemic. Running 15-minute long, every song generates genuine emotions that keep the listeners’ attention all throughout.
Both the artists have had a fair share of experiences during the pandemic, and they used those as creative fuel to develop one of the most outstanding projects this summer. ‘Dead Summer’ is the debut EP for Dead Hendrix and the much-anticipated comeback of Levi Zadoff after his 2018 SoundCloud hit and two other Spotify projects. Penning down their thoughts and emotions in the songs through their eloquent lyrical illustrations, they describe the EP as one of their most creative and experimental projects so far.
