First of all, Machine Gun Kelly, aka MGK and his partner Megan Fox are doing really well now and it seems like their relationship is a good place now which started around 3 years back. Other than their jaw-dropping appearances on the red carpets and crazy social media posts; this power couple has been constantly a part of the news. Although there are many ripples and ups-downs; they are “fully back together” and enjoying themselves like any other couple in love. Let’s see how it started for this edgy emo couple who are now on the top of the favorite couple’s list.
March 2020: The First Meeting
MGK and Fox first met each other in a proper manner when they were on the sets of the crime thriller story, ‘Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’. While filming for the project, MGK shared a post on social media of the cast chairs where the chairs dedicated to Megan and him were right next to each other. Not to mention Megan was also separated at that time after her split with Brian Austin Green.
May 2020: Fox in MGK’s Music Video
Within a couple of months, these two talented personas came really close and MGK was spotted multiple times “spending time together at Megan’s house,” according to the media. As their bonding went deeper, Fox was also featured in the official music video of MGK’s track ‘Bloody Valentine’ where both of them could be seen sharing some intimate moments. One of the hottest scenes for fans was when Fox steps on MGK’s while his mouth is covered with duct tape.
July 2020: The First Joint Interview and Instagram
The couple first appeared for a joint interview at the Give Them Lala podcast episode and Fox could not resist but to express her feelings towards MGK that grew during the shoot of the thriller film. She said, “I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame. Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended to a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.” In the same month, they embarked on their PDA sessions officially on Instagram where MGK shares their mirror selfie with a caption, ‘waited for eternity to find you again..’.
November 2020: Deeper in Love
The emotional bonding and maturity of the twin flame got even deeper and reflected through the interviews they attended. In an interview with The Nylon, Fox expressed, “Loving him is like being in love with a tsunami or a forest fire,”. She added, “The intensity of merging with him is just overwhelming, and the threat it poses is so powerful but so beautiful that you have no choice to surrender with reverence and with gratitude.” Quite similarly, MGK said in a statement, “When you have a partner, mine being Megan, sitting there with you on those dark nights when you’re sweating and not being able to figure out why you’re so in your head, to help you get out of your head and put it in perspective, that really, really helps.”
September 2021: The First VMA Appearance
The steamy hot relationship between these two offered a spicy presence at the 2021 Video Music Awards by MTV. Fox appeared in a see-through dress on the red carpet while MGK complemented her in an iconic red suit. When asked about the drip, Fox said, He was like, ‘You’re gonna be naked tonight,’ and “I was like, ‘Whatever you say, daddy!’ Whatever daddy says.”
January 2022: The Love Birds Got Engaged
Soon enough, it was time for MGK to propose to Fox and she said yes. Each of them shared posts of this magical event of their engagement and Fox added some poetic lines to the caption, saying, “We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated by the love. And the karma. Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.” It was a beautiful and kind of wholesome moment for fans who have been waiting for this long.
But then it is a little eerie too as Fox said, “and then we drank each other’s blood.” When asked about this matter, Fox said, “We do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.” Not sure what ritual they are suggesting, but it only reminded of ‘Jennifer’s Body’ to be honest!
February 2023: Did MGK Cheat on Fox?
After a year of adventures in the romantic life, there was a taste of repulsion when Fox deleted all the pictures of the rappers from her Instagram and also uploaded her selfies from Drake’s party with the caption “ “You can taste the dishonesty / It’s all over your breath”, lyrics from Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’. Perhaps it was an indication of infidelity but previously, the couple had dispelled all the breakup rumors. According to the media, they were seen going to a marriage counseling office and after counseling, they left in separate cars. But the couple worked together and soon, Fox shut down the cheating rumor on social media.
September 4: Fully Back Together
After months of intense couple therapy and appearing in multiple places together; the couple is finally back together and doing quite well than the last year. They are still engaged and MGK was found embracing Fox’s presence while hanging out on a weekend at the New York City. Fox has also published of book of poems written by her, titled ‘Pretty Boys Are Poisonous’ and MGK seemed to be quite proud of that.
So, if you are upset because MGK and Fox did not appear at the VMAs; they are probably having a more fun time at home after being together!
