As the Miami disco sound took entry in the 1970s, the party-heavy city welcomed disco groups like Foxy, KC and the Sunshine Band, and many others along with musical hits like, ‘Get Down Tonight’, ‘Shake Your Booty’, etc to name some. Later on, in the ‘90s a high-energy music genre hit the industry, titled Miami Bass. The bass-driven musical wave brings forth many artists and groups like 95 South, 69 Boyz, Tag Team, etc. By the time the 21st century came, Latin pop culture has influenced Miami very much and the artists started experimenting with hip hop, EDM, and pop while blending Latin flavors to it.
Evolution of Music
