When the world went into lockdown and was experiencing a creative drought, the artist in Majeeda was left inspired. ‘Wedding Invitation’ has poems that are like flow and are the result of the global quarantine. The collection of poems tells a story woven into a tapestry of love, reflecting upon an emotional and raw depiction through the eyes of the poet. The primary theme of the album is womanhood and its various emotions that can be heard throughout the entire album and its 12 musical tracks. The poet has dealt with several themes in the album including faithfulness and unfaithfulness, determination, and strength. She even went ahead to touch on subjects like the allegory of the bride and gave an ode to the bridegroom.
