Folk artist Andy Fischer-Price encourages the listeners to grasp every opportunity to freedom, even if it is for a moment in his upcoming EP ‘Party In The Woods’.
Folk music has an exceptional earthy feeling. It’s much more blissful compared to other musical forms. Young but experienced folk singer-songwriter Andy Fischer-Price is spreading the greatness of the genre with his marvelous creations. He is set to release a solo EP, ‘Party In The Woods’ on August 22nd, 2021. The title song of the EP is out and talks about the dreams of living life on your own terms and how life and responsibility pull us back from doing whatever we want. The phrase ‘party in the woods’ is a metaphor for the carefree life that we all seek to escape to from our mundane reality.
Hailing from Washington, the gifted musician along with his friend and producer, Michael Pappas, wanted to present a live performance inspired by the legend Johnny Cash, who played the songs live from his couch to Rick Rubin. Andy Fischer-Price wants to make sure that the songs of the EP, ‘Party In The Woods’ are showcased to the audience in its raw and simplest form. The other songs in the collection, ‘State I’m In’ and ‘Good John’ feature an old-school resonance merged with his power-packed singing in perfect harmony.
