Renowned singer Shaan performed at the inaugural ceremony of India House at the Paris Olympics 2024. It is quite a proud moment for the artist as performing at the Olympics is a huge matter. Shaan performed some of the most amazing songs at the inaugural ceremony. While talking about the performance at the Olympics, the artist said ‘I feel blessed to be part of this historic moment and I’m glad I could play a small part in motivating our athletes. I completely believe they will make us very proud’.
He also added ‘Manu Bhaker has already become the first Indian athlete to bag two medals (bronze medals in 10m Air Pistol women’s individual final and 10m Air Pistol mixed team playoff) in a single edition of the Olympics. The Paris Olympics will mark a golden chapter for Indian track and field accomplishments’.
Manu Bhaker is the very first person who bagged two medals for 10m Air Pistol segment. Before her, no one ever got the chance to win medals in this particular segment. That is why, her winning at the beginning of the Olympics has been quite motivating for all the other participants.

In an interview, Shaan stated ‘It was a special evening, and everyone was in the mood to celebrate India and our Olympic athletes. I sang songs like Chak De India, Lehra Do, ChaleChalo, DangalDangal, Lakshya and other popular songs. A special track that I performed for the very first time was JeetKaGeet (Chandu Champion). It felt like this song was custom-made for the occasion’.
He also said ‘Performing live with my band was an exciting and memorable opportunity for me. It is a privilege to be part of such a historic new beginning, where the Indian Olympic contingent from this day on will have their own country house every time and everywhere they participate at the Olympics’.

At the Paris Olympics 2024, Shaan went with his wife Radhika. And both of them enjoyed the opening ceremony. Shaan even said ‘It was so exhilarating to wave out to our Team India, who were all dressed in our traditional attire. What a spectacular setting with such grand performances. Despite the rains, we thoroughly enjoyed it’.
As of now, India has won a total of three bronze medals in the competition. Everyone from the nation is expecting that they will win a few more before the end of the Olympics.
