Fam Band from Cincinnati, Ohio has released their latest song ‘Day on Mars’ and it has generated a global buzz among all the music lovers out there.
Fam Band has once again entertained the masses with their brand new song ‘Day on Mars’. Like all of their songs, this track is led by BGutt and AK77 but this time features B. Stille of the Kentucky-based world-famous rap group Nappy Roots. This new and well-versed song has a thematic effect to it, which is actually no different than their other tunes. All Fam Band songs have a story to tell and this one uniquely describes a Day on Mars. “The song is about an interspecies romantic escapade between a Martian-born Don Juan whose ancestors were Earthlings and a beautiful Earth-born woman who is taken aback by her Martian lover’s fine red spread” Fam Band tells us.

The nucleus of Fam Band is a duo of brothers-in-law who are driven by their love for making and playing music. And, as a band, they have started a ritual since 2020 of writing and recording music at least one night every month and then no matter what, releasing it. They upload whatever they record that night and let the people decide what to think. This band is deeply passionate about their art and it is clearly reflected in “Day on Mars.” With BGutt’s magnificent voice and AK77’s distinctive hip-hop influenced flow, they give life to the song and make quite a magical piece.

For “Day on Mars” the beat was made by Cincinnati-based producers and Fam Band brother Jordon “Frankly Speaking” Schneider and his production partner Edwin “O.E. Bangerz” Chisley. The shredding guitar is supplied by AK77’s “brother from another mother” Johnny Alfi of the band Peephole. The mixing and mastering are by the super talented Alex Lakis who has worked with Alfi and AK77 for over 15 years. And of course B. Stille of Nappy Roots spits the perfect verse to close out the track and truly show some midwest love.
Fam Band’s collection of outstanding and meaningful songs has achieved a lot of positive responses from all around the world and it’s only the beginning. Although the Fam Band only started creating music recently, they have successfully accumulated a mass audience. Day on Mars already has over 400,000 streams on Spotify.
