Everybody is aware of the multifaceted skills of The King of Jewish Punk, music veteran Steven Paul Lieberman. This time, the dynamic artist is bringing back memories by recreating JethroTull’s 1972 Prog. While the original composition was around 43 minutes, The Gangsta Rabbi decided to create an hour-long extended version titled ‘Thick As A Brick’.. As hard as it sounds, Lieberman has gone really hard on this track and showcased his versatile aura by taking care of everything like a man army. Not only he has sung but played more than 20 instruments for this music project. The range of instruments includes lefty, righty, baritone, tenor, baby sitter; all kinds of guitars as well as basses, flutes, and whatnot. He has also played different types of trombones and recorders which make this music project a true masterpiece.
Lieberman is widely famous in this music community for his exquisite contributions. He is a composer, producer, arranger, and everything all together in a single entity of unbridled musical energy. Well revered in the Jewish community has doing music for many years now. He is also the Guinness Book of World Records holder for making the longest song ‘The Noise Militia’ which comes with a total clock time of 35 hours, 41 minutes and 9 seconds. He is never afraid to make bold moves with his musical experimentations and that is noticeable in his musical compositions as well. With his dynamic aura, he created a new genre called “Militia Punk” that offers a blended essence of thrash-metal, noise-punk and of course, military music.
Channelling energy and optimism through his music, Lieberman has proved himself as one of the most seasoned metal musicians. He has dropped a sum of 38 cassette albums and 40 CDs which helped to shape the metal industry in classics and also after the 2000s with the studio album releases. Some of his hit album projects are ‘Jewish Lightning’, ‘Jew in the Underground’, ‘Arbeiter at the Gate’, ‘Shake the Missile Base’, and the list goes on. The latest music project ‘Thick As ABrick’is just another milestone on his high-octane musical journey which is currently gaining more attention among the fans.
