Even though he was a college dropout and sex offender, the financier had forged some valuable bonds with the richest and most influential people around the globe ranging from Prince Andrew from Britain to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Even with his global influence, this disgraced person chose to take his own life. While the investigation is taking place again, the warden of the jail, Lamine N’Diaye was allowed to peacefully retire from the Bureau of Prisons. His retirement took place in February. He is now the warden at FCI Fort Dix which is considerably a low-security prison in Burlington County, New Jersey.

Though controversies are rising with the Federal probe, N’Diaye stays at the center of attention. He was previously the warden of Metropolitan Correctional Center. Later on, he was removed from the position when Epstein killed himself in jail while waiting for trials on sex trafficking charges. The investigators are saying that guards who were supposed to look after Epstein were possibly sleeping or browsing the internet and Jeffrey took the advantage of negligence and killed himself. The Justice Department’s inspector general is yet to finish the investigation since the probe is still ongoing.

One of the greatest mysteries about Jeffrey Epstein was his rare Italian cello though nobody saw him playing it. The cello is the only nonfinancial asset that is tagged in his foundation’s annual tax forms. Simply described as a cello, the musical instrument’s current market price is $165,676. The person who never tried to venture his musical side rather than financial business models is preserving cello; is truly questionable. While the mysteries of his financial growth and relationship with the richest men are being investigated by the lawyers and journalists; the other mystery of this cello is quite thought-provoking. The experts are saying that the mysteries are connected with each other. Questionably, Epstein’s Manhattan Mansion was filled with an array of curious stuff that gave birth to new controversies. It is being said that there was a portrait of Bill Clinton wearing a blue dress. Other kinds of stuff include a stuffed giraffe and prosthetic breasts kept in the master bathroom.

However, his collection was limited to objects only as his objective was bigger. He also made his influence spread over the world by building strong relationships with the leaders of every industry and field ranging from finance, business, politics, and academics to music and yoga as well. He was able to cement the relationships even deeper with his philanthropic deeds and donations, favors, and gifts in those fields. That is how the cello took an entry into his life. While growing up, Jeffrey’s brother Mark showed interest in music. Starting their lessons in childhood, Jeffrey developed his skills in Bassoon and Mark handled the oboe. Even though he participated in school music camps, music was never a part of Jeffrey’s career. There was a rumor that is going to be a concert pianist that was later proved to be a false claim.

About the mystery of the cello, Epstein’s self-told can shed some light on the matter. It said that Jeffrey had played piano for cellist Jacqueline du Pré who enjoyed the full support of Queen Elizabeth II. Through Jacqueline’s recommendation, Mr. Epstein was able to get access to British Royal Family and built a close friendship with Prince Andrew. The story is not completely a rumor since the timeline suggests that. He also became friends with Melissa Solomon another 14-year-old cellist but it did not last long. Interlochen student Jane appeared in the recent trial where she explained that Ms. Maxwell and Mr. Epstein groomed her when she was only 13 years old and allegedly raped her when was a minor with the promise to pave her career.

Nobody had the resources and good relationship with musicians to find out one extraordinary cello to gift to a relative of the influential political leader. However, Jeffrey has always been the kind of person who values his collections more than his assets. The mystery of the $ 165,000 cello and Jeffrey’s need to keep it close is evident now.
