New York-based Bad Mary releases Rock and Roll Classics Vol. 6 paying homage to songs that span from 1967 to 2007. Along with the EP release the band recently premiered the video for ‘You’re Standing On My Neck’ as a tribute to MTV’s 90s iconic show Daria.
The band features singer Amanda Mac, with her husband Mike Staub on bass, her father Bill Mac shows his skills on drums, and her former Hofstra University professor David Henderson on guitar. The EP includes their fresh and fun take on a wide range of rock, pop n’ punk genres that span decades.
The songs on the EP give an exemplifying demonstration of rock n’ roll musicianship. Moreover, lead voice artist Mac, brilliantly adds her quirky uniqueness throughout the EP.
Alternating between punk, pop, and racy rock n’ roll fusion, Bad Mary is anything but typical. They plan to follow up this EP with original single song releases, and a second EP of rock and roll classics with the release of an EP of all-new material later this year.
