It’s to no surprise that the pandemic situation has taken the world on a toll and there have been numerous events so far that have been replaced by virtual sessions. While many sites have already offered live stream options for the lesser-known artists, the changing time has now inspired other acts to take the new, contemporary lookout to bond with the fans. To add to the long trail of live streams, and also to mark the 34th anniversary of the non-profit organization, several celebrities including Eddie Vedder shall be playing in the Tibet House benefit live stream. Similar to other major events, this is being conducted virtually this year. The live stream is all set to be broadcasted on February 17th and shall comprise of both live and pre-recorded phases.
Philip Glass who is the minimalist composer has chalked the line-up yet again and has further invited Vedder, Bridgers, Brittany Howard, Laurie Anderson, and Valerie June to make appearances. The fund raised from the concert shall be channeled to the Tibet House US. The tickets for the live stream range from $25 to $250 and can be purchased on the streaming platform Mandolin.
The organizers of the Tibet House benefit have stated that there are only a few events that consistently stand the test of time and this annual event has been a standout for more than three decades now. For the very first time, viewers from around the world can embrace this unique opportunity to experience the amazing music that shall be provided that evening.
