Hikaru Utada Performed Some Tracks From The Kingdom Hearts At Coachella 2022

Hikaru Utada performed tracks from the Video game series Kingdom Hearts at Coachella 2022. Fans were nostalgic and mesmerized seeing her perform on stage.

The buzz over the Coachella was at its peak since its announcement. While people anticipated the performances by Harry Styles, Doja Cat, and Danny Elfman, Hikaru Utada took the stage and entertained the spectators with the certified Kingdom Hearst bangers.

After she announced on Instagram that she would be performing at Coachella fans started showing their excitement just after that. They were eager to watch her live or from home.

Coachella is a music and arts festival held in California every year. It is well known for its lined-up performances by some well-known music celebrities.

Hikaru Utada opened up her performance with the song ‘Simple and Clean’, from Kingdom Hearts. Later she sang another favorite track from her game series ‘Face My Fears’, which was co-created with dubstep artist Skrillex.

Her performance was nostalgic and mesmerizing, even though two members Sora and Mickey were not in the scene. Utada’s works were highly praised and popularized in the early 2000s. It was partly due to their songs being parts of Kingdom Hearts. However, the singer released her new songs too.

Last year the protagonist of the series Sora was announced to be the final fighter To join the Video game series Super Smash Bros. The series has got released on the Nintendo Switch. The next part, Kingdom Hearts 4 is announced to be released.

However, people got nostalgic and equally amazed by the performance of the artist from the iconic game series. In front of a trippy visualizer on a grand screen, the artist looked entrancing.

She also performed songs like ‘First Love’, ‘Automatic’, and T during on the stage. It was her first American music festival in her long 26-year career. The crowd went crazy seeing her perform amidst smoke being used all around her. The smoke machine was disheveling her while performing the tracks from Kingdom hearts.

Although many have praised Utada’s performance, some fans on Social media shared their anger for Utada not performing her hits live and the crowd not being crazy enough. One fan on Twitter said, -“Crowd too dead for my liking”.

 Another fan also said, “I’m glad I’m not there. I’d have been Wildin”.
