The Coachella Music Festival has given all the music manias a feast to remember for the rest of their lives. On Saturday, Billie Eilish went on to achieve yet another milestone in her illustrious career as she became the youngest headliner in Coachella history at 20 years of age. The artist headlined Saturday’s main stage. She also said, “Dude, this is so weird! I should not be headlining this s***!.” Billie was joined on stage by Khalid for performing “Lovely”.

On the other hand, 68-year-old Danny Elfman became the oldest artist to perform at the Coachella this year. Back in 2014, he said, “When I stopped doing Oingo Boingo, I knew that I would never get on that kind of concert stage ever in my life again without totally destroying my hearing — what was left of it.” The artist came out with some bangers this time. The artist went on to perform The Simpsons Theme. His orchestra also performed a medley of songs from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Spider-Man, and Batman. This was the artist’s first performance in the Coachella in the last 27 years. The artist was donning a black T-shirt and cargo shorts. His group had Wes Borland, Josh Freese, and Steve Bartek as the main faces.
The historic point and the highlight of the set from Danny came when he performed “Nothing to Fear (But Fear Itself),” “Just Another Day,” “Insanity,” and “Only a Lad,” for the first time since the 1980s. After an electrical performance, he concluded by saying, “Thank you for bringing me out of… whatever it’s called, I forget,” stopping short of using the word “retirement, Thank you. I like it here.”
The Saturday event was quite special as Billie also joined veteran singer Damon Albarn from Blur/Gorilla fame. Initially, the audience couldn’t recognize the Britpop star, but Billie went on to demand respect for the veteran from the audience. The dup performed on “Getting Older” along with “Feel Good Inc”. Fans around the world were left amazed, as they didn’t see it coming. All the social media platforms were flooding with posts from every corner of the world, as people witnessed the best of Coachella 2022.
