Pavement, the prolific indie-rock band has reunited for their last performance at LA. Their significant performances have touched the soul of all the audiences.
In the famous indie-rock genre Pavement has always been one of a kind. Once upon a time, this band has ruled the music industry with their exceptional pieces of music. The band was reunited in 2010 for a tour that left everyone stunned. They have performed also at Coachella, one of the biggest music festivals. In the initial of the tour, the band was much firm but over the time at ending it lost its essence and eventually broke up. The band faced a lot of problems at that time and that left them scattered.
It was seen that Stephen Malkmus and the rest of the band were not coordinating well and it made an impact on their performance. But still, with so many problems they made it through the whole tour, thus giving enigmatic performances that everyone will remember for the rest of their lives.
Since then, after 12 years the band again reunited to perform at Fonda in Los Angeles. The show was held on Monday which has swept away all their fans. In the show, they have sung all their iconic soundtracks. The audience has experienced their legendary songs, some of them are ‘Transport Is Arranged’, ‘Type Slowly’, ‘Fame Throwa’, ‘Slanted and Enchanted’, and many more. The listeners couldn’t believe in their eyes and ears that they are being able to experience this once again. The musicians have touched everyone’s souls with their musical ecstasy.
The band came out just like before and generated craziness among all of their admirers. Just like before Stephen Malkmus performed at the front, Bob Nastanovic played the guitar, Steve West at the drums, Mark Ibold at the bass, and Scott Kannberg at the other guitar. With their performance, the band has given an opportunity everyone to relive those nostalgic times. With this show, not only the fans but the artists also got the chance to revive their old experiences. There has been a new addition to the group, named Rebecca Cole who is a key player, and has also contributed her bit to make the show even more attractive.
The reunion has gotten a vast amount of appreciation from all the fans, but it is a matter of concern that how long they are going to remain as a group again. It is completely depending on them.
