Like many other music festivals, Summer Camp Music Festival also got postponed last year due to the huge surge in Covid-19 infection. But this year the organizers have decided to conduct it featuring the most popular artists. They have recently announced the full lineup of performers for the 2021 festival.
The 2021 Summer Camp Music Festival will be held at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois from August 20th to 22nd. The fest takes place over the Memorial Day weekend every year. But this year it was postponed till August due to the pandemic. This year the festival has a wide variety of musicians up its sleeve, ranging from rappers, funk artists, electric musicians, and much more. The musicians who were supposed to be part of the 2020 festival will return to the stage this year. Only top bass artist GRiZ will not be joining the event. Even without him, the genre will feature artists like CLoZee, lSDREAM, Rezz, Moody Good, Snails, WHIPPED CREAM, Boogie T, and many more in this year’s festival. Following the tradition, this year there will be lots of illustrious jam bands such as STS9, Umphrey’s McGee, and more.
There will also be acts by Subtronics, Death Kings (Ryan Stasik, Mike Gantzer& Mikey Carubba), KellerSquabi (Keller Williams &SunSquabi), Maggie Rose, especially, Rev. Jeff Mosier, MonoNeon, Saxquatch, Lettuce, The Wood Brothers, and many more.
In the official statement, the organizers have revealed that as the 2020 fest got canceled due to the pandemic, they have tried to keep the same momentum with this year’s lineup. They also said that they have tried their best to keep the lineup as similar as possible and are quite happy with what they have achieved. They are now working out the details of the Summer Camp Music Festival 2021 with some artists. They will be announcing their names soon as well.
It will be the 20th anniversary of the festival this year. Defer The VIP lounge lineup, Red Barn, Thursday Pre-Party lineup, and more are yet to be announced. The organizers have promised to announce them very soon. The multi-day music fest was founded in 2001 by Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment. It is one of the most popular music festivals in the US. It was placed in the list of top 40 music festivals in 2014 by Rolling Stone.
