DMR: Hello Mr. Cameron Sean, first of all, congratulations on the big success of the song ‘Prada Frames’. What would you like to say after all the responses from the listeners?
Cameron Sean: Thank you, I really appreciate hearing that. I would like to tell my listeners that this is just the beginning, and I have a lot of great music on the way!
DMR: Have you ever thought this song will reach out to so many people in a short time?
Cameron Sean: No, honestly, I didn’t know what to expect, but I feel forever grateful for the support of my fans.
DMR: What has inspired you to become a musician?
Cameron Sean: What inspired me was my dad. I watched him play that guitar year after year as well as other rap artists in the industry. Music is my outlet which allows me to express these emotions about love, joy, and pain. Music has helped me through some tough times in my life; without it, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. It’s in my veins and that’s why I love creating it so much.
DMR: Is there anyone who has influenced you to choose this career path?
Cameron Sean: I would say nobody in my personal life has influenced me to choose this career path, but my family and friends are very supportive.
DMR: How have you come up with the concept of this track?
Cameron Sean: While in my room, I was trying to come up with a concept for a song, and I looked at my glass case, and the rest is history.
DMR: Can you share some moments while making this soundscape?
Cameron Sean: My favorite part was hearing the sound of my eyeglass case closing while listening to the music, videographer, and nature everything just fell into place. The whole premise of the song is that these Prada Frames make me become/feel like a different person when I have them on. For example, when you buy certain clothes, receive a much-needed haircut, or when you accomplish specific goals, it gives you a different kind of confidence in yourself. I found it interesting how sometimes even a material object can change our self-confidence as human beings.
DMR: In the future, would you like to try out different genres?
Cameron Sean: Yes, I would love to experiment with different genres. As an artist, I always want to challenge myself and try new things.
DMR: Are there any new projects you are working on?
Cameron Sean: Yes, I am working on a new “EP” for 2023.
DMR: When we will get to see your next creation?
Cameron Sean: I will be dropping my new single before the year is out.
DMR: Are planning to do some concerts in the coming days?
Cameron Sean: I’m pretty sure that my Managers, Team Consultant, along with my PR Firm it is in the works.
DMR: What is your experience till now?
Cameron Sean: My experiences so far have been excellent overall. Highs and lows are a part of the process when going for your dream. I feel without those low moments or tough times, it would be hard to appreciate the good times and joyous moments.
DMR: Any message you would like to give to your fans?
Cameron Sean: I want to thank my fans for their continued support! I also want them to know that the new music, I’ll be dropping soon will be special. Lastly, I want my fans to know that if they have dreams or aspirations in life regardless of what it is, they are feasible if they genuinely believe and put in the work!
