It is a brilliant performance by the phenomenal rapper BROKEBABY Taz who has broken myths with his latest endeavor. The lyrical grandeurs and strong melodies in the track from the music video ‘DREAMCHASERS’ are flabbergasting. It is a hallmark of the very talented California hiphop artist.
We caught up with the rapper during one of his music video shoots and congratulated him on his success. He agreed to an interview quite instantly and we spoke to him on various topics related to his career and personal life. Here are a few excerpts from the interesting conversation.
1. At what age did you think of taking the plunge in the world of rap music?
Ans: 20
2. Are you a go-getter who is driven by passion or do you have more of a languid approach?
Ans: Driven by passion
3. What is your opinion about the way the music industry is functioning and do you suggest any changes?
Ans: I believe people should do what they love. There’s no right or wrong when it comes to music.
4. Do you idol worship any hip hop musician from yesteryears and wish to turn back the clock and meet the person?
Ans: Tupac
5. Are you driven by your instincts and gut-feeling or you plan everything about your career?
Ans: Half and half depends on the situation.
6. Who is the one musician who has inspired you very much to take the initial drive?
Ans: Tupac, Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, and probably a few more that I can’t get from the top of my head.
7. Which is your favorite arena that excites you the most while performing in front of big crowds?
Ans: Clubs.
8. Are you happy with the way things are shaping up for you or do you want something more?
Ans: I always want something more. I’m never really content.
9. Are there any regrets in life that you want to change given a chance?
Ans: There’s a lot of things I regret in life, but truthfully it’s what made me who I am today.
10. What is your take on the Covid-19 pandemic and how did you deal with this unusual situation?
Ans: I don’t know. Just keep good hygiene.
11. How do you relax when you have some free time out of your hectic schedule?
Ans: Watch movies and shows.
12. How do you manage time to be with your family and close ones?
Ans: I will always make time no matter what for my loved ones. Family or not.
