The hip-hop artist from Washington D.C., Eva Mariah is creating a buzz among everyone with her new song ‘D.F.W.M (feat. Bigsp)’. DMR: Hello, Eva Mariah, congratulations on the big success of your latest soundtrack ‘D.F.W.M (feat. Bigsp). The song is getting a huge response from all. What would you like to say about that?
Eva Mariah: I’m excited, I wasn’t expecting that much of a response really.
DMR: How was your journey of making the track?
Eva Mariah: My journey started off with me falling in love w the beat and the childish feel it gave me. i found my flow and went from there, i realized i hated my second verse the night before i had to record so i changed it, and im glad i did.
DMR: In this song, you have collaborated with Bigsp. How was your experience?
Eva Mariah: He’s coool, he has a passion for music and i appreciate it. I’ve always wanted to work with him so I’m honored he wanted to work with me!
DMR: How did you come up with the idea of this soundscape?
Eva Mariah: The idea literally came from the circus like beat.. just sounding like something fun and crazy and thats what i tried to portray.
DMR: What has inspired you to become a music artist?
Eva Mariah: I wouldn’t say anything has inspired me to become an artist. It has always been embedded into me, you know? Music has always impacted me and I also want to be impactful while on this earth.
DMR: You are a solo artist. How do you manage to create and produce a track?
Eva Mariah: As a solo artist, I find beats that find me. & go from there.
DMR: When did you start your musical journey?
Eva Mariah: I started my journey at the end of my senior year in high school
DMR: Apart from hip-hop, is there any other genre you would like to try in the future?
Eva Mariah: I would love to try R&B, Rock, Electric, Pop lol let’s do it all!
DMR: Are you currently working on any new songs?
Eva Mariah: I’m currently working on a song that is “old” to me but will be very new to you guys. so i am excited!
DMR: When we will get to listen to your latest soundtrack?
Eva Mariah: When i’m ready then you guys will surely be the first to hear
DMR: Are you planning to go on any tour or musical concert in recent days?
Eva Mariah: I would love to go on a tour! Pray fully very soon!
