Q: Who or what has influenced you to create music?
A: My Grandmother, My Son & my father are some of my strongest motivations & influences …. My grandmother Bought me my first Mic at about 4 or 5 years old …. & my father was a avid listener of all genres of music he had this massive collection of records & CDs … my mother used to sing in night clubs & stuff … also other artist inspired me a lot … I love to hear good music ….
Q: ‘The Cook Up’ is an excellent featured music. Whom do you remember while composing this track?
A: I can’t recall who or what …. but a feeling …. I was in the studio & I ran across this producer giving away the beat for free … but I still offered to pay him after he heard the song he gave me a deal for 3 or 4 beats … I released a rough draft of the song on Soundclound & My homies hit me up a little later saying it was an excellent song … it’s funny because they were just coming off tour & that was the first song that they heard …. I couldn’t enough of the beat … it just felt so good … I instantly had to record something … after it was done even I was like wow this song feels soooo damn good …
Q: What are the genres you have worked so far?
A: well …. sheesh! … I have a love for all forms of music .. but a little R&B, Pop, Rap, Trap, Vintage hip hop, Rock Rap … it’s a few …
Q: In what ways will you love to engage your audience with the track?
A: If a show was done … it would have to be a very intimate setting … that song has such good vibes ….
Q: What was the songwriting process like?
A: I remember Just listening to the beat for a few seconds & Ideas came to me … I just turned the mic on & recorded the feeling I had … of course I went back & cleaned it up … but it was right away no pen no pad .. just a feeling …
Q: What are the things or elements that have made your music powerful?
A: Past influences … for & for most my life my troubled child hood my mistakes, I come for really good & really bad stock … I’ve always been surrounded by death, struggle & pain. In between all of that there were some great smiles & adventures so all of that stuff blends to create my musical influences … it’s all apart of every element …
Q: Tell us the names of the musicians who have been an inspiration for you?
A: Honestly I cannot list them … that’s a long, long, long, long list … from oldschool to new school there is some great talent out there I love it ….
Q: What have been some of your memorable moments that you want to share with your fans so far?
A: oh man, oh man … The random facebook, twitter, instagram & direct messages I get when people find my music … it’s stuff you never can expect & it’s always the best memories when someone shows you love for your craft ….
Q: How was your experience while working on the track ‘The Cook Up’?
A: It’s was really fun … Like I really enjoyed every single moment of the creative process … there wasn’t a moment that I didn’t feel good about the recording session …
Q: Is a live performance important to take your career to the next level?
A: oh hell yea… that’s one of the most important parts … that’s where you give the energy back to the people that supported & invested their hard earned money in you & your dream …. that’s for the people outside of your inner circle that really believe in you …
Q: Is there any upcoming project you want to talk about?
A: Actually yea … I have a few Big Projects coming up … My Homies named “The Doppelgangaz” not long ago signed a Major Distribution deal & They will Producing & featuring on about 2 or 3 Project that I have lined up already …
