Music enthusiasts always want to get into the latest vibes that can soothe their nerves. Well, the famous artist HYMAGINN has kept it through an amazing flow. The rapping, lyrical presence, as well as songwriting ability, will keep you tuned for hours. This genius person has spared few hours to entertain the needs of his listeners and here’s how he welcomed us –
- It feels great to speak to you! So, the music video ‘The Arrival Intro.’ Is out on youtube. How are you feeling?
Well there’s not an official music video as of yet but it’s definitely on the way. But As far as the song and full album being on YouTube, I’m very excited and ready to reel in new fans and listeners.
- What or who has helped you building your interest on music?
Basically it’s been a self motivated task for me. I simply love writing and recording music. It’s been something that I’ve done from a young age. I was just always interested in music creativity.
- It seems that you have given a good flow to the music ‘The Arrival Intro.’ And it supposed to be the latest version of rap and hip hop. So, tell us something about the genre and how do you want to reinvent it?
Well I feel as though I am actually bringing real rap back to the genre. There are many singers rapping now and the game dims the light on true lyricists. I plan to bring that gritty, energetic, hardcore picture painting wordplay back into the spotlight. I wanna make Flow, style and lyrics important again.
- What’s the concept behind this new record?
It’s actually an intro to the newly released project titled “The Arrival”. It’s available everywhere, on all or most music platforms. But the overall album signifies My arrival into the game/industry.
- Which song would you say means the most to you, if you had to play just one for a new listener, and why?
“Suds” is another great single from the new project. It’s one of the more emotional tracks I guess you could say. Gives a bit of insight on me as a person and artist. It’s melodic and soothing to the ears. But Its one of my favorite because I know that It was written from a true aspect.
- Is music your full-time profession?
Ans: Not as much as I would like for it to be. It is my passion and first love, But I’m also still independent, as well as a father and husband. So realistically, I have to have more than one profession to accommodate my current living circumstances. I do everything myself, out of pocket. So multiple professions are a must.
- Lyrical prowess or instrumentation – which is important while composing a new track?
Both are very much equally important. Both are needed to make a promo worthy song. The lyrics and instrumental should definitely compliment one another.
- If you are asked to collaborate with any of the famous musicians which name will you prefer to call?
There are many out there but if we’re talking about rap/hip hop, I’d go with names like Young Dro (My Fav rapper), Ludacris, Migos, Rico Nasty, Outkast, Tech N9ne, Dave East, Blacc Youngsta and so on. It’s really too many to name. But I mean I’m honestly open to working with anyone. As long as we’re creating great content, I’m down.
- Is there a bigger picture or a particular goal you have in mind as an independent artist?
I just wanna see how far I can go with it. I eventually wanna do movies and shows etc. but More than all, I wanna make my mark permanent in the music industry. I wanna be remembered for my works and appreciated for my contributions.
- If you could change one thing about the music industry, what would it be, and why?
The way that artist are used for gains and then thrown away when deemed useless. The way crappy music is blown up in our faces but truthfully skilled individuals get overlooked and black balled it seems. I think talent should become important again.
- What will be your tips for the rising musicians?
Stay dedicated and motivated. Keep your determination strong. Let nobody defer you away from your dreams if you truly believe you were meant for them and visa versa. Understand that the only belief in you that you need comes from yourself. People will always discourage you.
- Anything you will like to share with your fans and followers?
Just to continue watching and listening. I promise to deliver great music and content for you all to vibe to. Stay loyal and stay patient with me. I’m always cooking up something. Oh and Stay safe, move smarter! I love you all!
