The Brooklyn rapper is a social changer who speaks out about his growing up days in the streets of Brooklyn through his poetic lyrics. His recent music video ‘LIL MIN’ built under the label Brotherzkeeperent has been well received by the audience and the self-taught rapper is currently having the time of his life.

How do you feel about the kind of love your latest music video ‘LIL MIN’ has received so far?
- I feel good about that and hope to have this video heard all over the world.
What is your most memorable memory till date?
- The birth of my daughter and release of my first Album Calm before the Storm
How do you feel the industry treats a new striving talent and someone who comes from a background the same as yours?
- Unfortunately, its not about the music. Its about corporations these days and the money. So I would say its very difficult for a young upcoming artist to break throught all of that.
What inspired to curate music on such intriguing and crucial topics related to the society?
- Growing up in Brooklyn and just my life experiences. It just came natural to express that in my music. Also I would like to bring attention to issues through my music.
How would you summarize your journey so far?
- Its been fun at the same time difficult as discussed. But overall its been great.
Since when did you feel that your true passion lies in hip-hop?
- When I was 7 years old I knew. I jused to write themes and poetry and listen to Bob Marley. I have always loved music.
Any word of advice for those who are still struggling to make their music heard amidst the huge competition?
- Persistence. Never giver up. If you have a passion and love as I do then keep moving forward and do it for the love of Art. Your time will come.
On bad days, what keeps you going?
- My motivation that one day my music will be available for all to hear and entertain people and make a difference by bringing attention to life in the inner city.
Tell us about the story behind your latest music video.
- Its about a young artist struggling trying to get his music out to the world. He takes matters into his own hands and breaks into a studio to get his music played.
How do you feel your music is different from the others and how would you elaborate on it?
- It always has a unique story line with underlying messages. The lyrics and tone is different than most of the hiphop out there today.
With so much going on around, any message you would like to put forward for your fans?
- Keep the faith. Try to relate and listen to other people. Today a lot of society is divided and we have to put asside our differences and try to understand each other. Don’t judge. Listen to each other.
