The album consists of soulful hip hop tracks like ‘Around The Bend’, ‘More Than Just Before’, ‘Struttin’, etc to name some. The artist has already garnered a lot of attraction with his previous releases that deliver a message through the bars. We thank the artist for sharing his time and a few words with us as we explore him a little more.

DMR: Your second album ‘S.C.O.A.P’ received much fame. Do you expect this album receive the same amount of appreciation?
Noble Barz: Yes, indeed and I say that humbly the album “S.C.O.A.P.” to me was both the basis and springboard of the direction that I am evolving artistically in having a marriage of soul elements whether it just be a sprinkle or more concentrated sonic wise on the various tracks while experimenting with other sounds you will get to hear even more on the upcoming “T.S.I.R.” project.
DMR: You have always provided hope and optimism through your tracks. What is the subject matter of this album?
Noble Barz: Yes, you got it and I appreciate your observation I always want hope and optimism to be constant themes content-wise as a lyricist even when tackling the not so lighthearted subject matter. The album “T.S.I.R.” touches on besides the aformentioned universal subjects like life, faith, and love just putting my approach lyrically and it is my hope that it resonates with the listeners both existing and new.
DMR: When did your knack for hip hop and rap music develop?
Noble Barz: My knack for hip-hop and rap music just develop from first being a fan from what I was hearing and then it evolved into developing a keen interest in the creative process behind what I was hearing as a fan but now as a Creative on the other side of the music spectrum.
DMR: Who inspired you to pursue music or your passion?
Noble Barz: Actually, the music itself growing up listening to old records and tuning in to a number of both video and radio programmes that promoted a cross-sectional genre of music while growing up in my home base the islands of the Bahamas.
DMR: How did you come up with the name, Noble Barz?
Noble Barz: I formerly went by the stage name Barz Noble as some publications will still reflect that in one’s online search prior to the recent switch to Noble Barz. The name change or switch from Barz Noble to Noble Barz was a result of me obtaining legal counsel to oversee some music matters in relation to my brand, the suggestion of the switch to Noble Barz came up during one of the communications with my lawyer. I believe Noble Barz still represents who I am artistic wise. The word ‘Noble’ involves character or distinction that identifies the voice of content within the delivery to inform and convey the message while the word ‘Barz’ refers to the musical and artistic aspect connected to the delivery that’s the Noble Barz sound.
DMR: This 3rd album is a solo offering by you. Are you looking forward to collaborating with other artists in the future?
Noble Barz: Yes, you will get hear some collaborations indeed on “T.S.I.R.” album as I have done in past projects with other talented fellow Creatives in producers and artist alike I look forward to working in the future.
DMR: What are your views on the modern hip hop industry?
Noble Barz: You said it right ‘industry’ as you may know the Scriptures state that “My people are despised for lack of knowledge” in layman’s terms get familiar with the business side of hip-hop this involves artist being empowered in ensuring that they are signed up with a performance rights organization, get their own music publishing in order, and stay informed on the pros and cons of being an independent versus being signed maximizing your contract tenure in getting the best results in being compensated to mutually benefit all parties involved if you are in that situation as an artist.
DMR: Do you think hip hop can bring change to society?
Noble Barz: Hip-hop to me has already brought a change to society if you look at it from both sides whether positively or negatively. Furthermore, people will and has debated with different views on hip-hop but one thing we all can agree on is that hip-hop’s impact in society is undeniable as many in its early years thought it would only to be a fly by night movement.
DMR: What tips would you like to give to the rising rappers in the industry?
Noble Barz: My advice to the rising rapper would be to stay consistent in putting out quality music or any other related venture when it relates to your brand when you have find your own lane just work it wisely the numbers will come after as you build again stay consistent in your lane. I am still learning when it comes to this also.
DMR: Is music your full-time profession?
Noble Barz: No not at this time I have a full-time job outside of music.
