Q: Can you tell us something about yourself and your musical background?
Ans: I am a Los Angeles Hip Hop artist. I base my music on original Hip hop. The rappers mouth was the gun and their words were the bullets. It was a verbal war to see who could put words together the best to defeat their opponent. That was battle rap.
Q: How long has music been a part of your life and how did you get into rap music?
Ans: Music has been a part of my life since I was 10 years old listening to R&B that the adults would play. Then one day I heard rap music and it’s been a wrap every sense.
Q: If you were not doing music, where would you be now? Is it worth it?
Ans: If I wasn’t doing music I would be working at a 9-to-5. To share your gift and do what you love, yes it’s worth it.
Q: What are your strongest points when it comes to rapping and songwriting? How do you sharpen them?
Ans: My strongest points when it comes to rapping are content, substance, lyricism and wordplay. I sharpen these abilities by consistently writing.
Q: Are there any hip-hop artists that you look up to? How do you include their influences in your creations?
Ans: I look up to artist like Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Jada Kiss, Kendrick Lamar and more. I include their influences for lyricism and creativity.
Q: What is the objective of your soundscape? In what way do you think it makes a difference?
Ans: The objective for my soundscape is to battle with words. The way it will make a difference is hopefully rappers and their fans will pick up words and not guns.
Q: Is there anything that you would like to change or improve about your music?
Ans: I would like to meet next level producers so I can have a better selection of beats to choose from.
