1. Following a string of impressive releases, how do you feel your hard work has paid off?
Ans: I feel that years of persistence and dedication to putting out quality R&B Soul music has gotten me the recognition that I was looking to attain from soul music lovers worldwide.
2. How do you feel with all the attention and love you’re receiving from family, fans, and friends at this point in life?
Ans: It feels wonderful to have my music be so well received worldwide. I really enjoy all of the great letters and feedback I receive regarding my music. I’m very appreciative.
3. Why do you prefer to send out messages of love and affection through your music?
Ans: I truly believe that love is the greatest force in the universe so I like to channel the energy of love in my music to touch the masses on a deeper level.
4. What has impacted your style and approach to R&B?
Ans: Being from Harlem New York has had a profound impact on my life and the way that I approach life and music. I believe that I bring the urban flair of Harlem New York City to my style of music.
5. Since when did you realize your passion for creating music and how did you make things work?
Ans: I realized that I had a passion for creating music as a teenager. After high school, I began going into the music studio and producing demo songs. From there, I began writing songs and learning about all aspects the music business, eventually creating my indie label Bright Vision Entertainment.
6. What or who has been your main driving force all along?
Ans: Honestly, the main driving force behind me pursuing my music dreams so ferociously is to prove to myself that I could do what the major labels said that I couldn’t! The major labels didn’t believe in my vision but I always knew that I had a gift for music that if given the opportunity to be heard, fans worldwide would appreciate.
7. What is your greatest passion as a musician?
Ans: My greatest passion as a musician is the creative process. I love bringing a song to life!
8. What do you feel the industry needs to embrace more and more?
Ans: I think that the entertainment industry needs to embrace new talent and get rid of the nepotism that’s stifling the industry.
9. You have an increasingly distinguishable vocal sound, is it something natural or you’ve worked on?
Ans: I have worked on honing my sound for a few years to have my own unique sound.
10. What has been your most fulfilling moment so far?
Ans: My most fulfilling moment so far in music has been seeing my name and song on the Billboard Music Charts as an independent artist.
11. Any special incident which you feel your fans should know?
Ans: Yes, currently my latest record Soul Nostalgia 3 went number one in the UK and Italy!
