Aspiring hip hop artist XXL’ J has established a powerful soundscape that features the fusion of various elements from several musical genres wrapped up by the dominant hip hop rhythms. The gifted North Carolina rapper has recently released another hit single, ‘Sweet Tea‘ that has earned him quite a bit of popularity in the music world. The artist has taken some time out of his busy schedule and sat for an interview with us.
Hello XXL’ J! First of all, thank you for doing this interview with us. And secondly, congratulations on the success of your new song! Let’s get started:
1. Tell us something about your music career and your experience so far in the business.
Ans.It’s alot in the best ways.
demanding as well, at least to me, personally I find it very uplifting and fruitful in this industry. if you know what your doing, know how to move towards ur personal goals and dreams, your music profile is in your hands.
2. You just released the song, ‘Sweet Tea’, what types of responses are you getting from the audience?
Ans. It’s a whole Lot of love! I love it. I love working with my guy ILoveLilC he’s a blessing to work with. And the fans! I can’t fret enough how much I love the fans and the support they give me, constantly. it’s a blessing to be able to have such loving die hard fans.
3. What expectations do you have from the song and how is it different from your previous releases?
Ans. I expect this to hit millions, just the raw potential and energy the song holds alone. Hits hard enough to hit millions.
4. Tell us about the rhythmic arrangement and your singing style in the track. What makes the song stand tall in the crowd?
Ans. It’s vary flowing and passionate.vary catchy to sing along too, especially the blend between my passion and lil c’s grit. It’s a work of art

5. What kind of message does the song convey to the listeners?
Ans. It’s a song about the truth of someone. As in how it’s difficult to look into someone’s life and know them, so it’s 1 to know someone, 1 to physically connect, and it’s 3 to know someone for who they completely in the whole sence.
The songs a cry for my deeper self to realise and seperate from the idea of someone,and actually evaluating and getting to know someone for who they are.
6. What is the inspiration behind the song and how does it influence your creative ability?
Ans. My inspiration is my life story, the passion and things I’ve seen and delt with,and the reflection of it all.
7. Are you satisfied with what you have created or do you think it needs improvements?
Ans. I’m always satisfied with my work to completion, I look at it as if its art, made in my vision. perfect in its imperfections and crafted from my emotion.
8. How long have you been in the music industry and how did you get started?
Ans. I’ve been here in the industry genuinly sence 2021. late 2021 is were I really picked up at. I started music as self healing and soothing therapy from my soul to mind,and then released it for the world to see.
9. How many songs have you released this year so far? Can you tell us about them in brief?
Ans. I’ve made over 20,000 songs this year 300+ released, each song is a diffrent mood,vibe,genre, asthetic
It really just follows my mind n how I feel at the time,or the things I’ve been through.
10. Who is your favorite musician and why? Do you use their influence in your work?
Ans. Me
11. Are you an independent artist or working under a record label?
Ans. Independent but I own my own record label XXLRECORDS
12. Are you currently working on any project? What would you like to say to your fans?
Ans. I’m working on several EP’S burnthehills , and staring in a movie in the summer.
