A splendid execution by the astounding rapper That Kid J The Don has created a lot of fan frenzy. He has come up with the mesmerizing rap number See Usthat also features Chris Rivers. We got a chance to ask the rapper some important questions.

We congratulated him on the latest success of the music video and he was candid enough to divulge important details about his personal and professional life. Here are a few excerpts from the interview.

Q: Who has been your biggest inspiration to date?

Ans: That’s a difficult question to answer I use anything as inspiration from what I love to what I hate!

Q: Why do you prefer hip hop above other genres and what is exciting about it?

Ans: Hip Hop has been in my soul since a kid. My family from The Bronx where Hip Hop orignated, and seeing how bad it is I now feel the need to do something. Remember this music was never the path I wanted.

Q: What is your biggest drive that made you take the plunge in the musical arena?

Ans: I got kids to feed and it took me awhile to realize nobody want to hear a talented poet spit bars. They want to hear lame ass rappers on good beats.

Q: Do you revere any icon from the rap world or somebody from yester years?

Ans: I respect all the OGs of Hip Hop from Wu Tang to Rakim. I don’t like Icons, I don’t want to be a ICON. What does a ICon do Icon you into thinking I’m better than you.

Q: Do you think that the hip hop industry is moving in the right direction?

Ans: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Q: Do you idol worship any musician and intend to turn back the clock and meet the person?

Ans: Bob Marley.

Q: Which is your favorite city in the world that gives you the adrenalin rush to perform?

Ans: Every city, performing around the country each city has its own vibe and I love the experience sharing my talent even when they hate.

Q: Did the year-long pandemic halted your prospects as a rapper?

Ans: Of course this has been detrimental I’m literally in debt trying to make this vision come alive.

Q: Do you want to make any changes in the way you make music or are contemplating any changes?

Ans: I’m ready for whatever is meant for me I know change is right around the corner and I’m going to walk through it a proud man.

Q: Do you have any kind of regret in the long career you had and given a chance would change it?

Ans: I wish I would’ve realized nobody give a **** about talent. They hate it that’s why they hate people like Floyd Mayweather and LeBron James cause they are great at what they do and people hate them and then come up with all different excuses why they hate them as if they really knew that person. We are in sick times where people are in love with the struggle and want to struggle and live with pain to show the world look what I did! No life is not meant to be that way.

Q: Who are your biggest competitors among the contemporaries and can give you a run for your money?

Ans: That demon in the mirror. He’s the only one who can mess my money up.

Q: Does the tumultuous socio-political situation in the world find a place in your tracks?

Ans: Of course in my line of work I interact with people from different countries and each of them are in pain because they feel like nobody want to hear their story. One thing that can really traumatize someone is when they feel like nothing they have to say matters. When they feel like nobody cares about what they’re going through because we all have a voice and it need to be heard but when nobody is listening that can cause real pain so I speak up for everyone it’s funny because people sometimes frown upon my work when I speaking about other people struggles but I don’t care I’m going to make sure the truth is heard, so if I got to do it on a beat so be it.
