Making it more mainstream, the artist TACEY has just released her second single, the impressive ‘Otra Notificación’. Being in the industry since she was 4 years old, music has always been a passion of the American Pop singer. Since she was discovered at only 15 years old, her hard work and passion have made her what she is today. This is the second single that she has released after her debut with ‘Conmigo’.
Known for her upbeat music and luminous vocal tunes, the artist has delivered a mesmerizing performance on the track that is creating quite a buzz in the industry. This bilingual track is a standing proof of the artist’s talent and caliber which helped her expand her reach in the industry. 1) Hello, Ms. TACEY. Welcome to Daily Music Roll. Before anything else, congratulations on the release of ‘Otra Notificación’. You have been getting positive responses from fans. So how are you feeling?
Ans. I’m feeling so happy!! This is just the beginning! I have so much more that I can’t wait to release!!
2) People are genuinely liking this track, similar to what you have experienced with your debut single, ‘Conmigo’. Is it any different this time?
Ans. I’m getting so much love on Otra Notificación! This disco pop track is completely different than Conmigo. Always love being versatile with my music and having unconditional support in everything I put out there feels amazing! I’m very grateful.
3) You have spent a lot of time growing up on the stage, dancing. You also said that it inspired you to become a musician. Is there any specific moment of realization?
Ans. I always knew that performing was my passion, I don’t think there was a specific moment when I realized I wanted to make music, I think deep down I always knew, as a dancer music has always been a huge part of my life so I always had a very special connection with it until I stared recording when I was 15.
4) Who is that one person who has influenced your career and shaped you into who you are today?
Ans. My mom is definitely my biggest inspiration! and I wouldn’t be where am today if it wasn’t for her. I’ll forever be grateful for everything that she does for me.
5) With the debut single, ‘conmigo’ and now with ‘Otra Notificación’, you seem to be in the genre of Latin pop music. Is there any chance you would discover any other genres in the future?
Ans. Absolutely! I’m definitely a pop artist but I love being versatile, these first songs are more Latin pop but I do many more genres, I have music coming out very soon that will surprise for sure! And I’ll be releasing more music in Spanish as well as releasing music in English in the near future.
6) Why did you choose pop music? Is it something you have always loved? Or you picked it up along the way?
Ans. I have always loved pop music and I love being a pop artist, I think that no matter the genre I sing to, there are always going to be pop elements in my songs that will define me as an artist.
7) You have already worked with pretty big names in the industry? How was the experience?
Ans. I’ve been blessed to work with people who are established in the industry and I’ve learned from their experiences, it’s a humbling feeling for sure, I just feel so grateful for the opportunity to work with them and every talented person I get to work with along the way.
8) What is it that you are particularly interested in or looking forward to in the industry?
Ans. I’m looking forward to making a positive impact to everyone who listens to my music and see my shows. I want to spread good energy through my music and my dancing, that has been always one of my goals as an artist, to entertain people and make them feel good and happy!
9) How do you gain confidence every single time you are about to perform? How do you battle with negativity around you?
ANS. Growing up in a competitive dance world definitely has helped me build thick skin and confidence, when you’re under the spotlight since a very young age you learn to deal with others opinion about you, it’s part of everything, but most importantly being surrounded by people who love me and believe in me is what really makes me strong and confident.
10) If you wanted to describe your musician spirit in one word what would that be?
Ans. I think perseverance is one of the most important words that describe my spirit when it comes to my career and in my life in general. I think being perseverant is essential, I never get tired to work towards my goals.
11) Who would be your dream collaborators? Name that one singer whom you would love to have a feature of.
Ans. Wow I can’t say just one name, there are so many artists I would absolutely love to collaborate with!! Just a few are Ricky Martin, Jason Derulo, Maluma, Chris Brown, The Weekend, Snow Tha Product, Lil Nas X, and Charlie Puth.
12) Any special message to your fans or supporters?
Ans. To always stay focused and to keep working towards their dreams, I believe that that is the secret to get there, and that I appreciate each and everyone so much, just thank you!
