The charismatic rapper, TC Curry has stunned his fans with amazing rap vibes in his recent music video. He has etched out a dash of confidence in his latest track ‘Ridicule’. It is a mind-blowing performance by the rapper based out of Pennsylvania.
We spoke with the rapper in the middle of one of his music video shoots. He showed a positive gesture and immediately agreed to a fun interview the moment we requested him. We congratulated the rapper for his recent success and here are few excerpts from the exciting interview.
Q. When did you first thought of becoming a rap musician and took the drive forward?
A. I’d say back in 2019 when I ended up not attending college to play football, ending my career and just going to Community College. I knew that school wasn’t for me and I had been making music for a couple of months then, so I just made the transition from football to music fully.
Q. Who has been the greatest inspiration in your life when you are starting?
A. My greatest inspiration was and will always be God. People have feelings, everybody has moods and at one moment things could be going valid and then the next they don’t like you. So I don’t really hold inspiration in people, I want to be myself.
Q. Do you listen to any other genres other than hip hop and which are those?
A. I listen to and make all different kinds of genres of music, just not rap. I love real music. There isn’t a boundary on that.
Q. According to you, who is the biggest icon ever in the world of rap music?
A. I’d say to me the biggest Icon in music history is Wayne. He’s done too much to even count and will still hop on something and walk a crazy 16.
Q. Are you very much bug-bitten by any legend and have an indomitable desire to meet him in person?
A. Nah i’m not bug-bitten at all because I’ve always known I would reach that level no matter what I did. But there are a lot of great artists of different genres that I would like to work with in the future.
Q. How did you dealt with the pandemic situation and was it a period of introspection for you?
A. The pandemic helped me really get into my bag musically for real. I was by myself all day every day and had to get comfortable with being alone. It gave me time to really find myself not just with music but life overall. It wasn’t easy though, But it definitely changed me for the better.
Q. Are you happy with the way things have unfolded in your career or do you have much bigger goals?
A. Yeah I’d say right now things are going good with my music career, I’m not rushing it im just letting things come naturally and continuing to put in work and make songs. Right now though I’m more focused on the business aspect of music and making sure that I’m setting myself up to be the greatest artist I can.
Q. How has money changed the way you look at the world or is it the same as before?
A. Money made me see the real in people. I’m not at the point yet where I’m making enough money off my music to where I can quit a job. I’m still working full time while putting effort into my music. It costs money to make money. But money definitely rules the world for people nowadays.
Q. Are you bothered by the constant adulation from fans and media attention that you receive every day?
A. Like I said I’m not a Huge artist yet but I love all the support that I get from everybody and that’s not gone change, Imma forever be me.
Q. How do you manage to dish out stellar performances in big arenas and front of big crowds?
A. I haven’t done any shows yet, but my first one is definitely going to be something crazy for sure.
Q. Are you happy with the way things are functioning in the rap music industry presently?
A. Music is a business. There’s going to be good and bad, but I will say that I think the independent artists are getting more exposure and are on the rise right now.
Q. Do you feel that you have the slice of luck that is required to make it big in the world of music?
A. I know what I’m reaching for and it’s not going to be by luck, it’s going to be earned. Everything is on God’s timing.
