Upcoming Kharkiv Techno Musician Daniel Daraban’s ‘Conundrum (Original Mix)’ Sweeps the Crowd of Its Feet

Listen to the creative enigma of upcoming Kharkiv techno musician and producer Daniel Daraban’s new track ‘Conundrum (Original Mix)’, a compelling musical mixed bag. The song undulates through a thematic membrane of emotions that are very personal to the artist. Progressive, melodic, and emotional, the song presents a scope of a thematic enigma before the audience.

1. How well does techno music fit in the global race of new-age musical styles and genres?

Ans: Techno is not just only a music genre, it is a sort of global culture, like different people around the globe unite in something common between. Nevertheless, deffinitly it is evolving. It’s changing with the same speed as people’s minds do. But there always going to be some space for classic. Good and old rave. I think, that techno music doesn’t need to fit the race, there’s a lot of different types of techno, from downtempo to melodic. So techno will always be techno.

2. How do you find themes through tunes and rhythms?

Ans: It is very simple. The process keeps you engaged and focused all the way, from the beginning till the end. But there’s one big thing. You have to love it. Every single stage of it, is it good or bad, if there is inspiration or not, whether you have good mood or bad, every single step of project creation, you must simply love any of it. Most the time, it is just some part of your being, wants to express something through devastating melody and there where the theme comes.

3. It looks like each of your songs is a piece of your insightful mind. Have you ever considered songwriting for your music?

Ans: We often use some sort of songwriting in our projects. A simple squirl, or noise, even clicks recorded on the phone with the help of some magic becomes a huge bang in the structure of the track. So yeah, there is songwriting.

4. What do you think the future holds of techno music?

Ans: It is always evolving. All the time. It is never holds still. There are always going to be some prodigy, that will lift up genres to a new, unknown level. It is bright and clear, no matter what, because there is no limits for it.

5. Do you feel that your music and sound are influenced by cultural diversities based on your experience and exposure?

Ans: Sure, I think everyone do. It is expression of experience and emotions that we’ve gathered through specific period in our lives. So, deffinitly they are influenced.

6. Do you think more than the glamor of equipment, music is something inherent and comes from a space of very personal understanding?

Ans: Absolutely. It is something, that composer wants you to understand, or have an experience to gather for you. But only in that specific way, with that emotions, in that wave. Music itself is deeply personal thing. It is hiding deeply inside consciousnes and comes out sometimes.

7. Are you open to collaborations with other artists, producers, or singers?

Ans: I don’t think so, but everything’s possible.

8. How important do you think are live gigs and performances in the career of an artist?

Ans: Not so important, as we’ve saw it in the previous and current seasons due to pandemic. But everyone wants it. Producer wants to be heard, people wants to enjoy that process. It is an algorithm that shouldn’t be broke. It is important for everyone.

9. The modern-day musical wave is a lot of electronic modulations. Do you think techno music has a future without blending its components with other genres?

Ans: No. There is no future without evolving. There are always going to be the ” leaps of faith” in music, which will bring techno genres on different levels. It is happening now as well.

10. What are your upcoming plans with your music?

Ans: There is no plan at all, before some glimpse melody, or loop, or motive will start growing deeply in my mind. When it’s done, there is no way back anymore, the track has to be finished then released, promoted after that… you see, it will never stop ??

11. Do you have any piece of advice for kids looking to establish their music careers from scratch?

Ans: I think beginners in music industry are positioning this meaning a bit wrong nowadays. There’s no careers, yet, at least.
There is love to music, to process, love to learning the music, producing, creation, evolving, making mistakes, getting better after that, passion and effort, taking your productivity to an absolutely new level. Accomplish goals. Be better day by day. Only after that comes careers. But this is only my belief. As for advice, just don’t quit, never. Quitting is the easiest way. Have no pity for yourself and don’t be lazy. Yes you can do anything to be better, to be the best. There is no limits for perfection.

12. Your eccentric style sets you apart from your contemporaries. How did your soundscape come to be as a separate identity?

Ans: It is just the way I see it. It is only my message, that goes deeply from inside. It is completely true. It is true feelings, true experience and emotions, that I’m trying to share with listeners. Each single contains a story coded behind through melody and beats. It is exceptionally my individuality. It is my strong feelings creates those separate identity.
