DMR: Rothstein Beatz, what an interesting name would you like share if there is any story behind this charmingly popular name of yours?
Rothstein Beatz: Being that I am from Las Vegas, one of the most popular movies about Vegas was called “Casino” and the main character was Sam Rothstein and one day I was dressed up in a suit with my shades on and cigar in my hand. My friend made a joke like who you think you are Sam Rothstein and I said no I am Stan Rothstein and since then people started to call me Rothstein and I added the Beatz to incorporate my production.
DMR: Your songs are very energetic and also have some minutely detailed frictions, and these are the reasons your songs feel extremely compelling. Would like to share more about the procedure of your musical craft?
Rothstein Beatz: I appreciate that but when I approach any beat that I am creating I try to create a vibe to either make you dance, bob your head or just sit and chill and enjoy the music. Music can change your mood or be exactly how you are feeling at the moment and that’s why I love music so much.
DMR: You have shared that popularity from music was not even a part of your wildest dreams. Now, after you have that kind of popularity how do you feel about it?
Rothstein Beatz: It kind of happened fast and got overwhelming at a certain point but I told myself this is what I worked for so embrace the journey and push thru the tough times.

DMR: Who or what has been the inspiration behind your musical journey?
Rothstein Beatz: My family is my biggest inspiration! My kids are the reason I go so hard but my older brother Jeff was the first one to introduce to the studio and the recording process so I owe him for starting me on this journey.
DMR: Please share the most cherished memory you have of music to this date.
Rothstein Beatz: My most cherished moment was being able to do music with my sister Naomi who is also one of my artist on Casino Gang Records and to be able to collaborate on a song then perform it together on stage is one of the best moments.
DMR: Your musical body of work holds various incredible numbers, but which one is your favorite track that you have composed?
Rothstein Beatz: Man, my favorite one has to be “Is There a Heart in the House” I love the piano with the hard-hitting drums so its a nice vibe to rock out to.
DMR: You have just endorsed your record label; how does it feel to be in this authoritative position? And what intrigued you to create this record label?
Rothstein Beatz: I feel pressure but at the same time thankful that I was able to be in a position to create my own imprint and give artist a chance to work directly with me and educate them about the music business so no one feels like anyone is giving them a bad deal because that is one of the biggest issues in the music business.
DMR: If you are given this opportunity of collaborating with any music artist from any time period, who would you choose to work with?
Rothstein Beatz: That a hard question because there were so many great artist from the past until now but I have to say I would want to work with Marvin Gaye because he was cut from a different cloth and his voice was one of a kind so I’ll have to say him.
DMR: According to you, what are the major qualities that a music artist should definitely have?
Rothstein Beatz: Personality, Swag, A story about who you are and represent. Passion, work ethic and belief that this is what they are put on earth to do it.
DMR: Any particular tips that you want to convey to musicians who are willing to make a change with their music?
Rothstein Beatz: Don’t be afraid to try different sounds or listen to different genres because it helps with your creativity being well rounded.
