Depressions, anxiety, mental illness are the terms that very much exist in our lives but often do we acknowledge its existence because of the attached stigma. Many of us have experienced days when it gets tough to even step out of the bed and carry on with our mundane duties. Music is known to have healing powers and even though it doesn’t saturate the grief but certainly goes to a large extent to distract our feelings for quite some time. There are days when we hear listen to feel the grove and then there are days when we listen to relate to the lyrics.

As our society continues to neglect our mental health, music therapy is gaining more and more popularity amongst mental illness sufferers.
