On Wednesday, country music’s biggest celebration was hosted. Guessing who have got CMT Music Awards this year? Here’s the full list of the artists who received the prestigious award and made it a memorable night. Gabby Barrett, Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, and Chris Young shared some of their proudest moments as they won the awards and thanked their fans.
Carrie Underwood received most of the awards of the night. She was crowned with Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year and that too, for the second time. She repeatedly won the biggest awards of the night and continued to slay the industry with her angelic vocals. She made history as the most awarded artist in CMT history, now with 22 wins in her bustling career.
She received the Video of the Year award for “Drinking Alone.”
Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, and Tanya Tucker were nominated in the same category.
Jennifer Nettles got the inaugural CMT Equal Play Award, while Granger Smith received Quarantine Video of the Year.
