Music artists from different countries are showing their support for the Olympians who are showing extraordinary performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This time, it is Adele who stopped her concert in Munich to pay attention to the athletes who are working hard on the tracks.

Her concert was going on in Munich on August 3rd this Saturday. Adele, the 36-year-old English songstress decided to pause her show to watch the women’s 100-meter final in Paris. The moment was captured by a fan and the video quickly went viral among the netizens which was shared through the account of NBC Olympics.

The singer made sure to broadcast the race of 11 seconds on the big screen so that all the concertgoers could also witness the moments. The fans were quite happy in the custom-built Adele Arena and the 10-night residency was launched on Friday.

The crowd at Munich was in complete awe when Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia won the race and, guess what? She finished the 100nm race in 10.72 seconds! With this new world record, Julien has managed to defeat U.S. stars Sha’carri Richardson and also Melissa Jefferson who got 2nd and 3rd place and won silver and bronze respectively.

This is one of the best moments in the Olympic history as the small Caribbean country, Saint Lucia has won the Olympic gold for the first time. Adele asked all the concertgoers to give her a round of applause which Julien deserves by all means.

The “Easy on Me” singer also said, “… While I was watching world-class athletes, I’d be like, ‘Oh that landing was a bit dodgy, wasn’t it? Oh her legs weren’t really straight,’ Meanwhile, if I tried anything that they do, I’d be dead.” Her humorous side was quite enjoyable when she said, “I’d absolutely die if I tried to even do a little, any kind of movement at all.”

Adele has also helped U.S. gymnast Simone Biles by giving her props. Biles has won multiple gold medals and Adele called her “absolutely brilliant.”

The 10-night musical show in Munich will be ending on August 31st. The Weekends with Adele residency at Las Vegas’ Colosseum will soon pick up its pace in October this year. Stay tuned to find more exciting moments of the Music industry and also the Olympics.
