Singer Adele announced the postponement of her Las Vegas Residency just a day before the concert was about to kick off. She said that the new wave of Covid has made it impossible to go forward.
She posted a tearful clip on Instagram with an apologetic note, “tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you..” She carried on and said that covid has destroyed all her efforts to amuse her fans.
She further added, “I’m sorry but my show ain’t ready” and “half my crew and half my team is down with covid”. As half of the members are yet to recover, it would be just impossible to prepare the show in time. She said in the video, “I can’t give you what I have right now, and I’m gutted and I’m sorry it is so last minute”.
A series of shows was set to happen on Friday(Today), and about to end on 16th April at The Colosseum at Caesars place. It is said that two shows every weekend were decided to take place.
So, fans now have to wait for the next announcement of her show at Las Vegas Residency. The delay of the 3 months Las Vegas Residency hits hard on the fans’ expectations. The residency has been highly anticipated by fans and critics.

The video posted on Social media shows how devastated she was over the last-minute decision of the postponement. She tried to stay normal, however, could not hold her tears.
In the video, she apologized saying, “I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and I’m so sorry to everyone who has traveled again. I’m really sorry”
She further added, “We’re on it right now, we’re going to reschedule all the dates and I’m going to finish my show, and i’ going to get it to where it needs to be”
The 33 turned singer, Adele was supposed to do two concerts each weekend starting from 21st January to 16th April in the USA. However, the continuous rise in the number of covid infections has trapped half of the team members into it. So, they could not make it happen. It seems that fans now need to wait for a little longer to see their favorite music artist take on the stage.
