Arijit Singh Released ‘Aar Kobe’ for the Ongoing Kolkata Protest

Arijit Singh protested against the Kolkata case and expressed demand with his new song ‘Aar Kobe?’. The brutal R G Kar Medical College and Hospital case has shaken everyone. The Indian playback singer came to the streets to protest against the inhuman incident. And now the artist has released the soundtrack to support the ongoing protest. The 31-year-old trainee doctor was brutally raped and murdered. However, even after 20 days of the incident, no justice has been served.

That is why, Arijit is contributing to the movement and trying to do his bit. With this song, the singer is pleading when we will get justice. Now it is high time to look into the matter of women’s safety. The victim in this case has gone through such an incident in her workplace. That is why, now everyone is asking where women are safe and demanding justice.

As of now, much improvement hasn’t been seen in the case. Civilians are protesting all around the world against such nasty incidents. Unfortunately, in previous times too, we have seen cases like this. However, nothing has changed since then and things have worsened even more. Now people do not want to experience things like this. For that reason, everyone is appealing for the right justice.

In the song, Arijit Singh has clearly demanded justice for the victim. Right after releasing the song, he said ‘This song is a cry for justice, a lament for the countless women who suffer in silence, and a demand for change. We try and pay tribute to the courage of the young doctor who perished and stand in solidarity with all women who face the horrors of gender-based violence. Our song echoes the voices of doctors across the country, who tirelessly serve despite the dangers they face’.

Arijit concluded by saying ‘This is not simply a protest song, it is a call to action. It is a reminder that our fight for women’s safety and dignity is far from over. As we sing, we remember the tireless efforts of those on the frontlines our doctors, our journalists and our students who deserve not just our respect but our protection’.

‘Aar Kobe?’ translates to ‘When will it end?’ is the only thing that everyone is asking. The public outrage has increased massively. And Bengal is right now in a tense situation. Various protests are going on in different parts of the country. So, now the government should take the right action to give justice and give the required protection to every woman in the country.
