Ashlee Simpson is all in for making her daughter’s “Barbie Dreams come true”. She might not be a Brabie herself but she knows how to throw a party! The American singer threw one of her children a birthday party inspired by the blockbuster film with her husband Evan Ross. The Barbie-themed decor included a life-sized doll box that barred the Mattel logo along with a pink balloon play station. The singer marked the occasion and the festivities by sharing a family picture with husband Evan Ross, daughter Jagger, 2-year-old son Ziggy Blu and 14-year-old son Bronx Mowgli which she shares with ex-husband Pete Wentz.
The 38-year-old singer posted a series of pictures and videos from the Barbie-themed pink birthday party on Instagram which happened as the daughter turned 8 over the weekend on July 30. The singer wrote in the caption, “Thank you to everyone for helping make JAGGERS BARBIE DREAMS COME TRUE.” she continued with “THANK YOU to the amazing TEAM.”
For the birthday bash, Jagger, the birthday girl was dressed in a gingham dress and she wore a white necklace and bow, similar to what Margot Robbie wore in the Barbie movie. The guests at the birthday party also channeled their inner Barbies and matched the theme with their dress codes. Ashlee was seen rocking a flower-printed top that had a Barbie logo, and matched that with sunglasses. The mother-daughter duo posted together a Barbie box photo backdrop at the birthday party.
The singer uploaded a video that showed the layered birthday cookie cake that was made in the shape of the iconic Barbie doll head. The birthday cake had pink frosting and a layer of pink-colored macaroons on the top. The cookie cake was placed with several other mini-layered cookies with pink frosting and roses. At the birthday party of the 8-year-old Jagger, there was also a pancake stand where guests received mini pink-colored pancakes by the pool. The pancakes seemed to have delicious toppings and an intriguing pink sauce to pour on the top. On Ashlee’s Instagram post, Jagger was also seen posing in front of an Ice-cream stand where she and her friends posed with the frozen desserts. This is not all, the entire party was filled with pink colored balloons flying all over.
Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross have been married since 2014 and have birthed two children, Jagger and Ziggy. Evan also shared some pictures from his daughter’s big birthday bash where Jagger was seen blowing a kiss to the camera while posing with her gifts.
