The album then proceeds with the track There Are Billions of Men on Earth in which, although the music is softer, the message emerges that we are now billions of men on earth fighting day after day to make room for ourselves in an increasingly smaller world.

The third track Dance Around The Fire, on the other hand, is inspired by the myth of Prometheus where man through the invention of fire begins to become aware of its power.

The fourth track is based on a harder rock What Have We Left Behind, here and the message becomes more retrospective, more doubtful about what man really is and what he is leaving behind with his actions.

The real turning point comes from the next track We Couldn’t Get Enough where a standard rock style is no longer identifiable but a nervous, agitated melodic rock where it is described how man can’t get enough of his actions and turns into a ruthless demon with no feelings who will stop at nothing.

The musical style of the sixth track Now Light The Fire is similar to the previous one but is based on a lyric in which one man urges everyone else to condemn him to the stake because he is not power-hungry will never love war. Although the story seems paradoxical, it is not far from the reality of those who go against the grain today, those who try to analyze what the true ideals to follow should be.

This brings us to the seventh track He Is The Time, for which it is really difficult to define its style.
The track proceeds confidently on its rhythmic basis as the confidence of the man described by the text who feels so powerful that he can even kill his God. But who ultimately fails in his mad utopia because in the end the only victor will be time, which always puts an end to all delusions of human omnipotence.

After the failed attempt to kill God, we come to track number eight When I Step On My Land where the wise man realizes that he is walking on his own land and describes how he feels thinking that this very land throughout history has been covered with rivers of blood and mountains of bones are buried beneath his steps.
The track is based on an almost dance-like rhythm where the words are obsessively repeated, creating a continuous tension that culminates in two catchy guitar solos.

This leads to the ninth track, which is then the one that gives the entire album its title, I’m Just a Man.

The track is more catchy and ends with two long solos. Here Balder tells in a poetic way that all violence, disasters and wars are no accident, but are due to the simple fact that we are just men and that we are made that way: we resemble demons.

Thus we come to the last track of the album The Human Tide, where the music becomes less nervous almost as if to acknowledge the helplessness of all those who are carried along by the human tide without being able to decide anything. The track recites that no one feels responsible because they do not feel part of the game, even though in reality everyone is caught up in it up to their necks.

What can I say except that the album really fascinated me and that each track is connected to the next by a thin thread that holds it together.
