Throwing objects at singers has been quite common in concerts. To get the singer’s attention, now concertgoers are doing whatever they like and the latest victim is 22-year-old Billie Eilish. Recently, on Friday, the artist was performing in Arizona. A video from the concert has gone viral on TikTok. An object was thrown by an audience directly at Billie. At that time, the artist was singing ‘What Was I Made For?’

Later it was found out that it was a necklace type of item. Right after she was hit by the object, she stopped singing. From her expression, it was quite obvious that the artist was annoyed. Many audiences started booing for the person who did such a disgusting thing. When an artist performs well, it is okay to appreciate their performance. But throwing objects at them even as a matter of appreciation is not acceptable. This kind of disgusting act shows that such a person doesn’t have any respect for either the artist or the art.

As the video has gone viral, many online users have also said that the fan should be responsible for such disgusting behavior. A fan wrote ‘9/10 things thrown get rejected so if you want them to keep it just wait till the end of the concert and workers will collect it’. Another one said ‘Why won’t ppl STOP THROWING THING’. Billie Eilish started her career at a young age and she has encountered this kind of incident before. Once she said ‘getting hit onstage with things for like, literally, six years. People just get excited and it can be dangerous.

Later she also said ‘I have mixed feelings about it because when you’re up there it blows’. She continues by saying ‘But you know it’s out of love and they’re just trying to give you something’. The thing is that the audiences are doing it out of love but their way of doing is not appreciated in any way. Previously, another singer named Zach Bryan stopped his Washington show due to a similar kind of reason. The artist then said ‘Who threw this?Who was it? Does anyone know? If you guys do know who threw it, we can get them out of here if we ever find out who did it’. There are a lot of ways to show love for artists. So, avoiding such sick methods will always be appreciated.
