Billy Ray Cyrus Has Shared the News About His Engagement With Australian Singer Firerose

The country singer is all set to walk down the aisle and this time his soul mate is going to join him for the union. Billy Ray Cyrus’ latest single ‘Time’ and his movie Christmas in Paradise are both out now. And amid his promotions and interview, he has opened up about his engagement with Firerose.

A few months back in April he divorced his wife Tish Cyrus. While talking about his devoice he has said, “For everything that’s good, there’s always been something equally as bad. I’ve never really known the middle.” After four months of grieving the separation and mourning the death of his mother Ruth Ann Casto, he is moving forward in life.

For this upcoming union, he has given all the credit to his late dog Tex, who apparently has done the matchmaking. Cyrus was on the set of his daughter’s Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana. He described, “There’s a couple old pine trees on the lot that look like Tennessee. Tex and I would go out there in the middle of the day and he’d take care of his business and we’d stretch and I’d think how much I missed Tennessee.”

He continued, “On that given day, Firerose came out of the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don’t know, recognition. I was like, ‘This girl’s a star.’” He didn’t know her at that point but Firerose knew who he was. About the first time, they met Firerose said, “Growing up in Australia, my love of music was predominant over everything,” she added, “I’ve known his music forever.” To this statement Cyrus quipped, she probably has known him “‘since forever.’ That’s how long I’ve been around.”

That short meeting extended when Firerose came forward to say hi to his dog Tex and “She told me she’d had an audition and I said, ‘Well, I’m sure you got the job,’” Since then they have been maintaining a good friendship and with time they have become good songwriting companions. And in this process, they both have elevated their ways of making music. To this Firerose added, “Billy confided in me a lot of what was going on in his life,” including his marital life. Until the time they thought this is more that.
