Britney Spears just obtained an emergency restraining order against her ex-husband Jason Alexander after he crashed her wedding last week at her home in California. The restraining order is a temporary one and it will be valid until Friday, June 17th. But if they decide to file to extend the order they can.
Britney was scheduled to get married to actor and model Sam Asghari on Thursday, June 9th and her ex-husband Jason Allen Alexander gatecrashed the wedding before the ceremony started. Britney and Alexander were childhood sweethearts and they got married in 2004 in Las Vegas. They were divorced just 55 hours after the wedding.
Hours before the ceremony of Britney and Sam’s wedding in her California home began, Alexander crashed the wedding while live-streaming the entire incident. He was saying things like, ‘Where is Britney?’ and ‘I’, here to crash the wedding’. He even referred the Britney as his ‘first and only wife’.
He was arrested on the spot after the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to investigate the complaint against him of trespassing. After he was apprehended, the ceremony proceeded without any issue. Celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton, and many more attended the wedding on Thursday.
A day after the incident at the ceremony, the pop star’s attorney Mathew Rosengart announced that they have been able to put an ‘emergency protective order’ in place. As per the reports on Billboards it is supposed to expire after five to seven days.
As per the restraining order, Alexander must stay away from both Spears and her husband Sam Asghari for at least 100 yards during the period. The 40-year-old Louisiana native even said that Britney Spears herself invited him on his Instagram live. He was charged with trespassing, battery, and vandalism. He was granted bail at $22,500.
Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari still had not made any comment about the incident to the press or public. She posted photos of her wedding on Instagram. She could not contain her4 excitement she captioned the photo, ‘Wow !!! Holy holy crap !!! WE DID IT !!! WE GOT MARRIED 👰🏼♀️ !!! Gggggeeeeezzzzz !!! It was the most spectacular day !!! ’ She even said that she almost had a panic attack as she was very nervous. She called it her dream wedding.
