Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band have postponed every remaining date of their 2023 tour for the next year. The singer has been diagnosed with peptic ulcer disease and he has been going under several treatments to cure this for the last few weeks. And now, as his doctor has advised him to take rest for the rest of the months of this year, he and his team have postponed every date to offer him the time to recover.
On Wednesday morning, Springsteen posted on Instagram sharing the news with his fans and the ticket holders of his shows. He informed me that the dates have been pushed back to the next year until the doctor prescribes him to join his singing forces once again. His treatment started at the beginning of September and due to this had postponed their September tour dates only. Now as the doctors have suggested, he is willing to put his health as the utmost priority.
On that post, he and his team have released a statement mentioning that all tickets will be honored for upcoming announced dates. Once the rescheduled time is announced people can check their availability and according to that they either can go to the show or refund their money, as per their schedule. But Ticket holders should know that they will have 30 days to refund their tickets once the dates are announced.

According to the post, he is recovering steadily from his disease, the post says, “Bruce Springsteen has continued to recover steadily from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks and will continue treatment through the rest of the year on doctor’s advice.” Later on, they added, “With this in mind, and out of an abundance of caution, all remaining 2023 tour dates for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be postponed until 2024.”
The dates will be announced soon, as per the post, “Rescheduled dates for each of the 2023 shows, including those postponed earlier this month, will be announced next week, all taking place at their originally scheduled venues.”
For the ticket holders they have mentioned, “When the new 2024 dates are announced, those unable to attend on the new date who purchased their tickets through official ticketing companies have 30 days to request a refund. All tickets for postponed performances will remain valid for the newly announced dates.”
Amid everything, each of his well-wishers on social media is wishing for his fast recovery and better health. For those well-wishers, the post quotes Springsteen’s message for his friends and fans, “Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year.”
