The K-pop fans or the ARMY are quite excited about this solo endeavor by the artist. Big Hit Music and HYBE have announced the project on Saturday, June 25. The release date is scheduled to take place on July 15.

Fans and followers who are eagerly waiting for the preview of the album will have to wait till July 1, Friday. Perhaps this is the project that allows the singer to “break the mould and grow further”.

Previously, the news of BTS’ temporary hiatus from the group activity has made many fans sad. But soon, the band declared that each of the members will “harmoniously carry out their group and individual activities” via Big Hit Music.

‘Jack  In The Box’ is going to be the first solo project done by a band member after the halt in the group projects. Surely, J Hope is building a lot of hope for the ARMY.

The singer is also headlining the Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival which will take place in July. He would be the first South Korean music artist to headline a major music festival in the USA along with Greenday, Metallica, and many other renowned bands and artists.

The rapper closed his performance with an emotional speech, thanking his fans while becoming a voice of protest.

After the breathtaking performance of ‘Mr. Morale And The Big Steppers’ single, the rapper continued his hooky and powerful chant of “They judge you, they judged Christ. Godspeed for women’s rights”.

Then he left the stage while fake blood has been poured down his thorns, representing the suffering of Jesus.

The chant is very significant at the moment since the Supreme Court’s recent decision of overturning Roe v. Wade on June 24. Many artists like Lorde, Billie Eilish, Phoebe Bridgers along with Lamar have voiced against this through their performances at Glastonbury.

The rapper started his performance with the interlude from ‘Savior’ and there was ‘United In Grief’ as well as ‘Count Me Out’ and ‘N95’ as well. Lamar also performed some of his hit singles like ‘Humble’ and ‘Alright’.

 Addressing the audience, the rapper said, “I consider y’all family, this shit is special, it means a lot to me.”

Grabbing the attention of her huge follower base of 136 million, the rapper put up an Instagram post announcing the release date of her upcoming album along with a preview.

It included a 15-second teaser with some bass-heavy beats and a hook.

Cardi’s fans and followers have been eagerly waiting for the next project and the anticipation is quite high. She took a notch higher by putting the caption, “Tomorrow 8 pm I got another surprise for yall, tune in.”

 

It has been four long years since the rapper released her last album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ in 2018. However, she has assured her fans that this sophomore effort is going to be worth waiting for.

This Grammy-Award-winning rapper is currently a mother of two. The rapper previously broke all the records with her album Invasion of Privacy’ standing at the top of the Billboard 200.

It sold over 255,176 total album-equivalent units along with a streaming count of 202,647,961, setting a record in the hip-hop industry. Truly, Cardi B has embraced the presence of woman rappers in the industry.

Rage Against the Machine donated half a million dollars to Reproductive Rights Organizations

Almost every other music artist and the band is putting up a strong protest against the recent decision of the Supreme Court to ban the rights of abortion. Amidst the chaos, this band has donated a huge amount to the Reproductive Rights Organizations which was earned via ticket sales.

Rage Against the Machine donated half a million dollars to Reproductive Rights Organizations

 They revealed the fact that their fans have rained over $475,000 from the sale of charity tickets for their upcoming concerts. The concert is scheduled to take place on July 9 at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Elkhorn as well as United Center in Chicago on July 11 and 12th.

 The band has stayed in solidarity with women’s rights, human rights, and reproductive rights and said, “Like the many women who have organized sophisticated railroads of resistance to challenge these attacks on our collective reproductive freedom, we must continue to resist.”

I agree with the band’s statement and many other music artists are staying in the line as well. Lizzo has also pledged to donate a handsome amount to the organizations in support.
