In the music video of the melancholic release, ‘Come Back to Me’, he is seen in a rather somber appearance, singing his lines with conviction and with a gloomy facial expression. The way the music video has been executed shows a lot of inner conflict and his versatile approaches offer a nuanced understanding of this heartfelt release. The depicts various aspects of a person, from being a friend in need of a comforting shoulder to your buddy or to being a married man with a kid, or having a menacing disagreement with a girlfriend, various measures of life have been described in this video.

In this video he is seen in a different appearance with shorter hair and the darker background tones elevate the gravity of the theme of this number. The extremely nuanced music video has almost 6 minutes of running time. Namjoon seems extremely convincing in these roles illustrating the instances of sheer despondency through each of the frames of this number.

However, fans are extremely excited to see him back. A fan wrote, “RM is for sure very talented! From rapping to now singing, shows his amazing singing skills. You are totally talented RM! Your music always teaches the army something, and we enjoy listening to you… We ARMYs will always and FOREVER be with you and support you! LOVE YOU, NAMJOON!”
